West Virginia's 2006 

American Recycles Day Contest Rules

TERM: This contest will last from January 1, 2006 - November 16, 2006.

PRIZES: Prizes include: One (1) Grand Prize of $250. The grand prize will be awarded from all statewide entries.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning will be determined by the number of entries received.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: There are three (3) ways to enter: 1. Hand print your complete name and address on a 3" x 5" piece of paper, 2. Complete a printed entry card, or, 3. Complete an on line entry form at www.state.wv.us/swmb/. Mail your entry to: West Virginia America Recycles Day Contest, WV Solid Waste Management Board, 601 57^th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304. Entries must be postmarked by 11/16/2006. The West Virginia America Recycles Day Steering Committee is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, illegible, misdirected, mutilated or have insufficient postage, and reserves the right to modify scheduling of the contest without prior notice.

NOTIFICATION: The grand prize and other prize winners will be notified by mail and/or telephone on or after 12/15/2006. Prizes may be claimed by writing Recycling Coalition of West Virginia, Inc., P.O. Box 3706, Charleston, WV 25337.

ELIGIBILITY: All legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to win. Members and immediate family of the West Virginia America Recycles Day Steering Committee, its employees, Board of Directors and officers are NOT ELIGIBLE. This contest is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.

CONDITIONS: The West Virginia America Recycles Day Steering Committee, Board of Directors, participating sponsors and organizations, state agencies or recycling organizations, product donors and their boards, committees, officers, employees and agents are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury from entering the contest or acceptance of prizes. By submitting an entry, participants accept and agree to these rules and the decisions of the West Virginia America Recycles Day Steering Committee which shall be final. There is no warranty provided by the West Virginia America Recycles Day Steering Committee on any prizes awarded. Winners assume complete liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused, by participation in this contest, or the use or misuse of any prizes. Winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release which must be completed and returned within 21 days of notification or an alternate winner will be selected. By accepting a prize, winner grants the West Virginia America Recycles Day, Inc. permission for the use of his/her name and likeness for advertising and future promotion purposes without additional compensation except where prohibited. Entries will be drawn until an eligible winner is confirmed. This contest is subject to these complete and official rules. A statement of the winners' name will be available after 1/1/2007.
